Young people at the wonderful new YMCA Youth Hub in the centre of St Helens have been working in partnership with us as part of Communities of Wonder.

The group decided they would love to do creative writing and chose to work with the Poet Dominic Berry on a range of ideas important to them. We have looked at what St Helens means to them, what makes them happy, how to build atmosphere into short pieces and how to perform poetry for film and live audiences.

They have created enough content for a wonderful anthology of their work and are now working on developing rhythm and movement to enhance their spoken word performances.
