In 2024 we supported Gemma to make and tour ‘Pirate Princess’ a brand new non-verbal theatre show for young audiences.

By supporting the facilitation of R&D sessions with young people in St Helens, the creation of a tour pack and with the integration of BSL into her performance, we helped Gemma to create an inclusive and accessible show with themes such as strong and inventive women, reducing waste by recycling, reusing and repurposing clothing, tackling gender stereotypes and hope against adversity.
