Sonnet Pigeon
We played with lots of different poetry styles when we worked with Dom the Poet. Maxim took our ideas from our discussions about what it’s like to live in St Helens and in turn what it would be like to wander the streets from a pigeon’s point of view. The Sonnet follows a rhyme scheme of ABABCDCDEFEFGG. He used Shakespeare’s Sonnet structure of Iambic Pentameter to bring his ideas to life.
