Wonder Arts secures funding to spread wonder across St Helens & Wigan

We’ve got some wonderful news to share…

Wonder Arts has been awarded £60,000 from Arts Council England!

This incredible support means we can continue to bring wonderful artistic experiences to children and families in St Helens AND extend the wonder into Wigan!

What this means for our community

For years, we’ve been dedicated to bringing high-quality, innovative arts experiences to children, young people, and families across St Helens; people who often don’t get the chance to engage with the arts.

We recreate the kind of performances you might see on London’s Southbank right here in the heart of communities; sparking creativity, connection, and joy.

Now, thanks to this new funding, we’re not only able to keep our programme thriving in St Helens, but we’re also able to expand into Wigan. This couldn’t come at a better time, with Wigan’s brand-new Arts Strategy just launching.

We can’t wait to play a part in this exciting cultural moment.

Wonder Arts’ Chief Executive & Artistic Director, Fay Lamb says: “We are thrilled to receive this support from Arts Council England. This funding not only ensures we can continue to bring high-quality, imaginative events to audiences in St Helens, but it also allows us to expand into Wigan at a really exciting moment for the town’s cultural future. We believe creativity should be for everyone, and this investment will help us make that a reality.”
